Manifest recently won a competitive pitch to promote Severn Trent's water saving initiatives. As part of the process, two campaigns were to be chosen to battle it out head to head with the most effective one then running for the next 12 months.
Thanks to the quality of the ideas produced, both competing campaigns came from the Manifest camp! One used a dysfunctional cartoon family called the Streamlines, the other involved a collection of rather posh camels!
Both campaigns performed well but the clear winner was the camels. A mix of Compare the Market and Ab Fab, conserving water 'darling' is the name of the game and the campaign is now getting into full swing for the summer. Social media outreach, advertising, direct mail and online promotion will all be employed to get the message across.
